Antique copper insulated jug dating to the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1880–1920). This hand-constructed industrial vessel features riveted seams, a hinged lid, and a richly developed natural patina from decades of use.
The jug has strong primitive character and likely served as an insulated liquid or syrup dispenser. Its sculptural form and authentic wear make it an excellent decorative statement piece for rustic, farmhouse, or industrial interiors.
Family provenance suggests long American ownership dating back multiple generations. While exact origin is unknown, the construction and materials are consistent with early industrial American copperware.
The piece stands approximately 18 inches tall. It shows dents, oxidation, and wear consistent with age and use but remains structurally solid and stable for display.
Measurements:
Height: approx. 18 inches
